Made a page for Eden
Spent the last few days putting together a page for my late friend Eden. After a lot of planning and hard work it's finally complete and I feel really proud of it! I hope anyone who visits the page likes it as much as I do.
I'm really happy that I was able to put this page together for her. After this, I feel like maybe I'll finally be able to tackle working on the zine we had planned together before she passed. It's been nearly three years and I have not been able to get started on it. I'm scared I won't do a good job on the design, that it won't be as perfect as I want it to be, for her.
With the limited knowledge I have about website building, I still managed to make a page I am really proud of, so I think I could make a zine that I'll be proud of too. And even if it doesn't turn out perfect, it will be okay.
A bit that is still holding me back is that I have never made a printed book before, and at the very least I want it to print well. I'll consider putting a call out for help and see if maybe someone could show me some basic ropes in getting the formatting right.
In the meantime, I'll set a goal to try and design a cover for it in January. Baby steps.
